Sunshine on Staithes

I had to overcome my fear of heights to climb Cow Bar hill and paint this iconic view of Staithes. It was worth it! What a joy to paint this beautiful fishing village on such a lovely day. A passing tourist admired this painting as I worked and later contacted me to buy it before it made it to my website. It is always worth asking if you are interested in a painting that isn’t on an artist’s website, you might be pleasantly surprised.
